CD-32 congressional candidate Jake Levine has submitted a formal comment to the LA Board of Airport Commissioners regarding its lease with Home Depot, which has a location in Van Nuys on LA Airport property.  The lease is expiring, and Jake's campaign is working with the community, and after consulting with leading immigration and day laborer rights non-profits NDLON, IDEPSCA, and Valley Defensa, is demanding that any new lease require that Home Depot: 
 

• Prohibit enforcement agencies from operating on the property without a warrant.
• Transparently report and publish any federal raids that occur.
• Support the Day Labor Resource Center.
• Publicly denounce the raids and affirm the rights of day laborers.
• 
  

Jake will resubmit his comment at the next BOAC Meeting with community signatories.
